1. Mathematical modeller, Health Protection Agency, London, UK
The HPA Centre for Infections is looking for a mathematical modeller to develop and apply mathematical models of infection transmission and control, concentrating specifically on the dynamics and spread of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria (AMRB) in hospitals and the community. The post is part of a European programme aiming to significantly advance knowledge of AMRB. Candidates must hold a degree in mathematics, statistics, or a science with a substantial quantitative component and have a higher degree in a relevant subject, and have experience in scientific programming and the development of mathematical models.
