4. Expert in Food & Waterborne Diseases in the Surveillance Unit, Stockholm, Sweden

Tasks of the job include supporting the coordination of ECDC’s activities in the area of surveillance of infectious diseases (especially food and waterborne diseases), contribution to planning and implementation of a sustainable surveillance system, assisting member states in strengthening national surveillance, etc. Candidates should have completed university studies, have 5 years working experience of which at least 3 relevant to the duties outlined in the job description, practical experience in clinical/ medical microbiology, experience in using statistical and analytical epidemiological methods, good command of English and at least one additional EU official language.
