Five day course on Prevention, Detection and Management of Arboviral Diseases on 23-27 April 2012: In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Barcelona Centre for International Health Research (CRESIB). This five-day course, directed at professionals and students in medicine and other health sciences, focuses on the key elements of the epidemiologic and clinical characteristics of arboviral diseases, including: phylogenic classification, distribution and transmission dynamics of the leading causes of arboviral diseases, methods for accurate diagnosis of arboviral diseases, principles of clinical management of arboviral diseases and prevention of arboviral diseases, including the role of vector control and the use of human vaccines.
