Applying for EPIET Alumni Network Travel Grants for ESCAIDE 2011

The alumni association of the European programme for intervention epidemiology training EPIET (EPIET alumni network or EAN) administers a number of travel grants to allow epidemiologists presenting at ESCAIDE to attend the meeting.

EAN will offer a small number of competitive travel grants for applicants whose abstract has been accepted for an oral or poster presentation at ESCAIDE 2011. Preference will be given to countries who have previously been under-represented at ESCAIDE (see EAN outreach project).

In addition, grants for applicants from Portugal have been provided by the Gulbenkian foundation. Applicants for these grants do not have to have an accepted abstract, but preference will be given to those with accepted posters or oral presentations at ESCAIDE.

Applications must be received (by email) by 23:59 on Friday 16th September 2011 and should be sent to EANboard@gmail.com, and copied (c.c.) to kitwilliams70@gmail.com and bernardh@rki.de.
