Epidemiologist in Uganda
The Epidemiologist will be responsible for providing support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the Organization’s AIDS Program in Uganda. The primary objective is to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the Global AIDS Program. Design, facilitation, coordination, and evaluation of HIV prevention activities and studies required to implement PEPFAR. The Epidemiologist will be responsible for the provision of technical assistance (TA) to Ministry of Health (MOH) Uganda and partner organizations in implementing a strong and country-wide HIV prevention program. The candidate will serve as a scientific and ethical expert providing assistance to the Program Monitoring and Evaluation Unit of Organization’s Uganda office, and partner organizations. The candidate will participate and provide technical assistance on HIV prevention issues at technical, policy and strategic planning meetings. Deadline: 31 July 2009
