This forum is for anyone under distress by statistics, which includes most of us. When posting your question, please be as precise as possible and give at least:

  • your software, i.e. STATA 9.0
  • your analytical question, i.e. "I want to measure, whether the difference between two proportions is statistically significant" instead of shouting "HELP, my #$!* analysis is not significant!"
  • if available, post your code. For better reading, use the special "code" tags available. For a list of available tags click on "Compose tips" on the navigation menu on the right (under your login-name)
  • MOST IMPORTANT: if you benefit from community efforts, give something back. That would include adding a short synopsis of the solution under your original post (just click on your original post and click the "edit" tab, works only with own postings). Otherwise, you might find people less helpful the next time.
