This two-day module took place after ESCAIDE 2008. It was hosted and supported by the Robert Koch Institute, Berlin and followed the successful Stockholm module three years earlier.

- Training the trainers, Stockholm, April 2005
This two-day module was hosted and supported by the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control (Smittskyddsinstitutet "SMI") in Stockholm. It aimed to provide trainers and potential trainers with a package of tools to be used in training at different levels and for different purposes. Also, the module aimed to initiate/promote futureToT activities in Europe (i.e. working groups, future modules, learing groups etc.). During the module a total of 13 participants from seven European countries received training on: assessing training needs, defining competencies and training objectives; designing a course and various training techniques.

A two-day module hosted at the NationalInstitute. The module covered new research areas applicable to public health such as case-case analysis, decision analysis and lot quality sampling (LQAS).
