Public Health and infectious diseases expert for Project on Disease Control in Kazakhstan, GIZ (former GTZ http://www.giz.de/en/home): This project concentrates on disease control measures which are not sufficiently addressed by other funded projects. More in particular it focuses on increasing the role and involvement of nurses in infectious disease prevention and control and by improving infectious disease prevention and control in health facilities. The overall objective is to improve infectious disease prevention and control with special focus on Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C. The intended commencement date is as soon as possible and the contract will be 24 months from this date. Expertise required: Master of Public health (or equivalent), Experiences in infectious disease prevention (Malaria, HIV, Hepatitis A+B, etc.), Experiences in nurse training, Knowledge of Russian.
