Short term consultant for WHO Laos

The WHO Country Office in Laos is seeking an epidemiologist for a consultancy position of 3 months with start date ASAP. The consultant will provide support to the preparation and response for the upcoming South East Asian Games (SEA) games in Lao PDR in December 2009. Candidates should be aware that, depending on their start date, the consultancy may run over the Christmas period (there are no WHO public holidays in Lao PDR during this period). The SEA games end on 19th December and some follow-up is likely to be required afterwards as well. Contract dates can be negotiated during the interview.
