Subject: EAN mini module Time Series Analysis
Dear EAN members,

we would like to hear from you if there is interest in a mini module on time-series analysis (TSA).

The idea is to have a workshop for alumni who are already familiar with TSA. The aim of the workshop will be to learn from each other by discussing and trying to solve problems that you might have encountered during the analysis of datasets using TSA. Ideally, every participant should bring a dataset with him/her which he/she is currently or has recently been analyzing (regression analysis, ARIMA, as applicable). The workshop will be facilitated by Bernadette Gergonne (ex-EPIET cohort 9) and will likely be hosted by RKI in Berlin. A requirement is sufficient knowledge of STATA and of the commands used to perform TSA. Computers with STATA installed will be available.
Suggested dates: some weekend in 2010
You should arrive in Berlin Friday evening, so that the workshop can start Saturday morning. The maximum number of participants is 15.

If you are interested in this workshop, please send an email to EANboard@gmail.com indicating your preference (if any) for specific weekends.

Current EPIET/FETP fellows please note: This mini module is organized by EAN - it is not part of your curriculum.

Thanks to Helen, who took the initiative to organize this mini module !
